DRIVING DIRECTIONS: We suggest you print the driving directions below as popular map guides like GPS, Google and Mapquest can be confusing. Try to arrive before dark as the local country roads are not lit.

From Highway 50: take El Dorado Hills Boulevard exit (30B) NORTH. El Dorado Hills Boulevard will turn into Salmon Falls Road. Follow the road until you come to Enchanted April Inn on your left at 5950 Salmon Falls Road. It will be on your left the second driveway after you pass Equestrian Way.
LOOK FOR THE ENCHANTED APRIL INN SIGN ON THE MAILBOX! We are about 12 miles from Highway 50.

From Highway 80: take the Highway 49 exit in Auburn towards Placerville. Continue on Highway 49 and pass through the town of Cool. Continue on about 4 miles until you see Rattlesnake Bar Road on your right. Make a right onto Rattlesnake Bar Road and then an immediate left onto Salmon Falls Road. Follow Salmon Falls Road about 3 miles until you see 5950 on your right shortly after Peacock Way. LOOK FOR THE ENCHANTED APRIL INN SIGN ON THE MAILBOX!

GATE: opening our ranch gate is sometimes confusing to some people. The gate IS NOT automatic. To open the gate all you have to do is lift the rear latch (farthest from you) on the right side of the gate and gently push the gate away from you. Please close the gate after entering. Proceed up to the check-in area and then up the left hand path to the front door.

YOUR ARRIVAL: Please email or call us with your approximate arrival time. We want to make sure we are here to greet you and check you in.

Check in is from 3 PM on unless you make other arrangements with us. We may be running errands and may not be on the premises if you arrive earlier than 3PM!
If you arrive after 9 PM we will leave a note with instructions for you on the front door indicating your room number. All rooms are located up the stairs. We turn the house phones 916-939-9144 off after 9 PM so if you need to reach us after that please try my cell at 916-817-9574. Please note that if you arrive late other guests may be sleeping.

If you are arriving with horses please be advised that you will have to pass our entrance and proceed several hundred yards down the road to circle back at Equestrian Way. There is a turn-around there. It is unsafe to make a right turn into our entrance coming from the North side.

REMEMBER TO BRING your own Feed, Hay etc. Shavings are available for purchase but you must let us know you want them so we can have them on hand!
